The SR-24LE’s intuitive mapping display shows the utility's estimated position, direction and depth, while audio cues guide the operator over the utility.

The omnidirectional antenna array captures the complete signal field, making it easy to acquire the signal and trace its path for greater speed and accuracy as the gradient antenna pair provides left/right guidance for centering over the signal. Already equipped with a SeekTeck 18V Battery Adapter, this locator is ready to power with a RIDGID 18V Lithium Ion battery (not included) for long-lasting power in the field.

The Ridgid^® SeekTech^® ST-510 Line Transmitter lets you energize metallic lines for tracing with a locator. The ST-510 is used to generate an “active” signal on a metallic underground line so that it may be traced with a compatible receiver such as the SeekTech SR-20 or SR-60. This allows the line’s location to be correctly marked so it can be exposed for repair or avoided during excavation. The Scout is ideal for users locating SeeSnake and other sondes and who occasionally need to locate energized lines. The Scout features distinctive on-screen markers that guide you to the target and a map provided to trace energized lines at 4 different frequencies as well as passive AC, displays real-time signal strength with no need to adjust gain, calculates depth when located above the target

The multi-directional antenna technology sees the entire signal all of the time. Simply maximize the signal strength and you have found the target. No nulls or false peaks to complicate the locate. Depth is automatically calculated and displayed when over the target.
